A Day To Remember- Bad Vibrations Review

Bad Vibrations is A Day To Remember's sixth studio album. Coming back since the release of their last album Common Courtesy, it seems the bands sound is more raw than ever. Over the course of the bands career, they have been evolving their sound, and this album is sure proof of that. The lyrics on this record are a lot more personal than their past records. They address subjects such as anxiety, tension, age, and even politics. This time around, A Day To Remember tried a new writing process as well, having written the entire record in a rented cabin in Colorado. You can definitely hear the tension in the record as the band was forced to not only get along in such a tight space, but also complete writing a record that each member was happy with.
Vocalist Jeremy McKinnon also gives vocal styles that we have never heard before. The sixth and seventh tracks on the record are great examples of that. The guitars as well give us a great balance of what we have come to know, but also expands on that. A Day To Remember has not pushed the limits on this record, but they have delivered one of their heaviest and most ambitious albums to date.
